In Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the Player King says:

‘Our thoughts are ours, their ends none of our own.’There are billions of scenarios that you can dream up and for things to happen in a some imagined way, but in the end you may no control over external consequences of things that involve more than just what you do.

Focus only what you can do, what you can control, what you can do, to live the life you want. And if nature deals you a tough hand, see what you can make it too. See how you can spin it in the way you want.
