Understanding yourself, life and what truly matters isn’t about getting answers –it’s about asking questions. And knowing exactly which ones to ask yourself.
One of my mentors introduced me to three powerful questions, ones that if you ask yourself, and answer honestly after examining them, you’ll find what you really want, what you think and what matters to you.
We chase things (money, excitement, status, success etc.) because of expectations, fear, peer pressure, or what others say is the right thing to do. But we don’t actually examine if the thing we say we want is actually worth it (and why).
If you need to make a major decision or you’re tossing up whether or not to chase something, ask yourself:
This thing I say I want… Do I actually want it?
Is it worth it?
