Anyone saying ‘Don’t you get bored of ding the same thing every day/week/whenever…?’ is like saying ‘Don’t you get bored of breathing Oxygen? Wouldn’t you prefer to breathe another gas for a change?’
If the only present that exists is the present right now, then every time you do something, it’s possible to think of it as the first time you’re ever doing it in your mind. To approach it with excitement, joy and curiosity, like you’ve never done or tried or been to that place before.
Routine is a healthy thing, because it’s the foundation of self-improvement. But every day, every weekend, every moment, you reset. You can imagine this is the first time you’re ever doing it and it’s the most exciting or important time you’ve ever done it (and imagine it being your last ever).
